Warranty Policy for Urban Portable Cabin

At Urban Portable Cabin, we are committed to delivering high-quality portable cabins, prefabricated structures, modular buildings, container offices, and customized infrastructure solutions. This Warranty Policy outlines the warranty coverage applicable to products manufactured and supplied by Urban Portable Cabin.

By purchasing products from Urban Portable Cabin, customers acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Warranty Policy.


1. Warranty Coverage

Urban Portable Cabin provides a 6 (Six) Months Leakage Warranty Only on portable cabins and prefabricated structures manufactured by us.

The warranty period begins from the date of delivery or installation, whichever occurs earlier.

This warranty is strictly limited to manufacturing-related leakage issues only.


2. What Is Covered Under Warranty

The warranty covers only leakage caused due to manufacturing defects under normal operating conditions.

Covered items include:

  • Roof leakage resulting from manufacturing defects.

  • Water seepage caused by defects in roofing sheets, wall panels, or joints.

  • Leakage occurring due to faulty workmanship during manufacturing.

  • Manufacturing defects affecting weatherproof performance of the cabin.

Urban Portable Cabin will inspect the reported issue and, if found to be covered under this policy, necessary repairs will be carried out.


3. Warranty Period

Warranty Duration: 6 Months

The warranty shall automatically expire after completion of six months from the delivery or installation date.

No extension of warranty shall be provided unless specifically agreed in writing.


4. What Is Not Covered Under Warranty

This warranty does not cover any issue other than manufacturing-related leakage.

The following items and situations are specifically excluded from warranty coverage:

Structural and Physical Damage

  • Damage caused due to accidents.

  • Impact damage.

  • Mishandling or improper usage.

  • Physical damage after delivery.

  • Damage caused during transportation arranged by the customer.

Natural Calamities

  • Floods.

  • Heavy rainfall beyond normal conditions.

  • Cyclones.

  • Storms.

  • Earthquakes.

  • Lightning.

  • Fire.

  • Acts of God.

Wear and Tear

  • Normal wear and tear.

  • Surface scratches.

  • Dents.

  • Fading of paint or coating.

Electrical and Plumbing Components

  • Electrical wiring.

  • Switches.

  • Sockets.

  • Lights.

  • Fans.

  • MCBs.

  • Plumbing pipelines.

  • Water fittings.

  • Sanitary fittings.

Accessories and Fixtures

  • Doors.

  • Windows.

  • Locks.

  • Handles.

  • Glass.

  • Flooring.

  • Furniture.

  • Interior fittings.

  • Air conditioners.

  • Exhaust fans.

Corrosion and Rust

  • Rust formation.

  • Corrosion due to environmental conditions.

  • Chemical exposure damage.

  • Coastal area corrosion.

Customer Alterations

  • Unauthorized modifications.

  • Structural changes made by customers.

  • Additional constructions attached to the cabin.

  • Improper installation by third parties.

Maintenance Related Issues

  • Lack of maintenance.

  • Improper cleaning practices.

  • Negligence by the customer.


5. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure warranty validity, customers must:

  • Use the cabin under normal operating conditions.

  • Maintain the structure properly.

  • Inspect and maintain roof drainage systems regularly.

  • Prevent accumulation of water, debris, or waste on the roof.

  • Inform Urban Portable Cabin immediately upon noticing leakage.

Failure to follow proper maintenance practices may void the warranty.


6. Warranty Claim Procedure

Customers wishing to make a warranty claim should contact Urban Portable Cabin with the following information:

  • Customer Name.

  • Invoice Number.

  • Delivery Date.

  • Product Details.

  • Description of the issue.

  • Photographs or videos showing the problem.

Our technical team may inspect the issue before approving any warranty claim.


7. Inspection and Repair

Urban Portable Cabin reserves the right to:

  • Inspect the product before approving a claim.

  • Determine whether the issue is covered under warranty.

  • Repair the affected area.

  • Replace specific defective components if necessary.

The decision of Urban Portable Cabin regarding warranty eligibility shall be final.


8. Transportation and Site Expenses

Any transportation, crane, lifting equipment, accommodation, labour, or site-related expenses required for warranty service shall be borne by the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.


9. Limitation of Liability

Urban Portable Cabin’s liability under this warranty is strictly limited to repairing manufacturing-related leakage issues.

Under no circumstances shall Urban Portable Cabin be liable for:

  • Business losses.

  • Project delays.

  • Loss of profits.

  • Indirect damages.

  • Consequential damages.

  • Third-party claims.

The maximum liability shall not exceed the original purchase value of the product.


10. No Other Warranty

Except for the 6 Months Leakage Warranty expressly mentioned in this policy:

No other warranty, guarantee, representation, or assurance, whether express or implied, is provided by Urban Portable Cabin.

No warranty is provided for:

  • Structural damage.

  • Electrical components.

  • Plumbing systems.

  • Accessories.

  • Paint finish.

  • Corrosion.

  • Normal wear and tear.


11. Changes to Warranty Policy

Urban Portable Cabin reserves the right to modify or update this Warranty Policy at any time without prior notice.
