Cancellation and Refund Policy for Urban Portable Cabin

At Urban Portable Cabin, we specialize in manufacturing customized portable cabins, prefabricated structures, container offices, portable toilets, security cabins, and modular buildings according to customer requirements. Since most of our products are manufactured specifically for each customer, we maintain a strict cancellation and refund policy.

By placing an order with Urban Portable Cabin, you agree to the following terms and conditions.


1. Order Cancellation

Customers may request cancellation of an order only before the manufacturing process has commenced.

Once manufacturing, fabrication, material procurement, or customization work has started, cancellation requests may not be accepted.

Urban Portable Cabin reserves the sole right to approve or reject any cancellation request.


2. Customized Products

Most products manufactured by Urban Portable Cabin are customized according to customer specifications, dimensions, designs, and project requirements.

Therefore:

  • Customized portable cabins cannot be cancelled once production has started.
  • No cancellation shall be accepted after fabrication or manufacturing begins.
  • No refund shall be provided for customized or made-to-order products after production starts.

3. Advance Payment Policy

Advance payments are collected to confirm orders and initiate manufacturing activities.

The advance amount is utilized for:

  • Procurement of raw materials.
  • Production planning.
  • Fabrication activities.
  • Labour allocation.
  • Custom design work.

Accordingly:

  • Advance payments are generally non-refundable.
  • Customers are advised to review all specifications carefully before confirming orders.
  • Any refund, if approved, shall be entirely at the discretion of Urban Portable Cabin.

4. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered only under the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate payment made by the customer.
  • Excess payment received by mistake.
  • Order cancellation approved by Urban Portable Cabin before production begins.

Refund approval is subject to verification and management approval.


5. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds shall not be provided in the following situations:

  • Manufacturing or fabrication has already started.
  • Customized products have been produced.
  • Materials have been procured specifically for the order.
  • Customer changes their mind after order confirmation.
  • Delivery has already been completed.
  • Product has been dispatched.
  • Delay caused by customer site readiness.
  • Customer fails to accept delivery.
  • Product specifications were approved by the customer before production.

6. Damaged Products During Transportation

Urban Portable Cabin shall not be responsible for damages caused during transportation arranged by the customer.

Customers are advised to inspect products at the time of delivery and unloading.

Any visible damages should be immediately reported to the transporter and our team.


7. Refund Processing Time

If a refund request is approved, the refund will be processed within 7 to 15 business days from the date of approval.

Refunds will be made through the original payment method wherever possible.

Processing time may vary depending on banks, payment gateways, and financial institutions.


8. Order Modification

Customers may request modifications to confirmed orders before manufacturing begins.

Additional charges and revised delivery schedules may apply for any modifications.

Once manufacturing starts, modifications may not be possible.


9. Cancellation by Urban Portable Cabin

Urban Portable Cabin reserves the right to cancel an order under circumstances including but not limited to:

  • Unavailability of raw materials.
  • Non-payment by the customer.
  • Incorrect information provided by the customer.
  • Force majeure events.
  • Unforeseen manufacturing constraints.

In such cases, any eligible refund shall be processed after appropriate deductions, if applicable.


10. Force Majeure

Urban Portable Cabin shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or inability to fulfill orders due to circumstances beyond our control, including:

  • Natural disasters.
  • Floods.
  • Fire.
  • Heavy rainfall.
  • Government restrictions.
  • Lockdowns.
  • Labour strikes.
  • Transportation disruptions.
  • War or civil disturbances.

No compensation shall be payable for such delays or cancellations.


11. Customer Agreement

By placing an order with Urban Portable Cabin, the customer acknowledges and agrees that:

  • Most products are custom manufactured.
  • Advance payments are generally non-refundable.
  • Cancellation requests may not be accepted after manufacturing begins.
  • Refunds are subject to company approval and policy terms.
